For 2010 the SBR will not have a single Charity of Choice but will be supporting numerous local Charities & Non-Profits.  The Community Service Committee’s mission is to educate and inform the board members about the wide range of volunteer and giving opportunities that are available to all of us in the Seacoast.
Our goal is to support a wide range of local charities by educating our board members about what the needs of the non-profits are.
The committee will be looking to our members to inform us of their special charity events so that our members can make their own decisions as to how and who they will support.
Monthly events will be highlighted on the CS calendar which is located on our website.  So if you’re on a board or part of a fundraising committee let the Community Service Committee know about your upcoming events and how SBR members can assist your local charity reach their goal; be it a walk – a- thon, blood drive  or winter coat collection.
